Home Health nurse - Home Health Care Nursing

Job Responsibilities
Making initial nursing evaluation visit
Continually evaluating the patient's needs
Initiating, coordinating and revising the treatment the treatment plan
Rendering nursing care and performing treatments, such as IV administration, as ordered by the physician
Participating in the Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Process
Preparing accurate, orderly and timely reports and documentation
Adhering to all practice standards as they apply to patient care

Job Requirements
As a Home Health Nurse with Victory Medical Solutions LLC (VMS) , you must be a caring, patient and flexible teacher with excellent communication and time management abilities. You must be willing to travel in your own vehicle. You must possess independent problem solving abilities, excellent clinical assessment skills and be computer literate. You must also be in good physical shape and have the ability to lift/transfer patients to and from wheelchairs, if necessary.
Additional requirements of our Home Health RN include:
Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience, home health experience preferred
Valid driver's license and one year clean driving record
Ability to pass a Level 2 background check and drug screen
Excellent writing and charting skills
Methodical and tidy work habits
All applicants must have the following:
Current CPR/First Aide
Current proof you are free of TB
Bilingual English and Navajo STRONGLY desired
Ability to be Flexible, team player, and very diplomatic with challenging family members and patients.
