50 an hour 5 days ago 5 days ago 5 days ago We are looking for fun loving, motivated individuals to become part of the team at the Arizona Nordic Village.
While we are a cross country ski center in the wintertime, we also rent out frontcountry and backcountry cabins, host events and weddings, as well as provide access to outdoor recreationists during the summertime with hiking, biking and equestrian activities.
Flexibility and proactiveness is a must for this position.
Crosscountry ski knowledge is also a plus! Frontcountry/Backcountry duties:
-Maintainence and cleaning of cabins and yurts -Checking booking software for check ins/check outs/other relevant information for guests -Stocking of rentals as well as main Lodge -Answering guest inquiries over the phone and in person during staffed hours -Cutting/splitting/stacking firewood -Driving UTV/ATV into backcountry to clean and service units, including moving porta-potties or providing gear shuttles for guests Lodge duties:
-General cleaning/maintainence -Putting out tea and coffee in the mornings for guests -Answering phone calls/emails -Stocking fridge/behind counter with snacks and drinks -Manage retail -Provide information for guests/recreationists Wintertime duties:
-Rent out crosscountry skis and snowshoes -Shoveling -Snowplowing -Provide classic ski lessons (if qualified) -Run/organize ski shop (if qualified) Event/Wedding duties (May-October):
-Maintain neat, clean event space -Clean bathrooms and make sure they are well stocked -Answer guest questions -Throw out trash -Start/maintain bonfire (if applicable) -Operate generator This is a part time position with 34 hours a week as the maximum amount that can be worked.
Some wedding shifts require a 10am-6pm shift or 3pm-11pm closing shift.
