We are a combined Pediatric and PICU unit.
We have 14 beds that can be used for either Peds med-surg patients or PICU patients.
Our staffing ratios are 4:
1 for peds teams and 2:
1 or 1:
1 for PICU teams.
We see lots of trauma patients, respiratory, ortho, ENT, DKA, GI.
We send patients to Phoenix for subspecialty care such as cardiac surgery, pulmonology, and neurologyoSpecial Equipment:
