We are a combined Pediatric and PICU unit.
We have 14 beds that can be used for either Peds med-surg patients or PICU patients.
Our staffing ratios are 4:
1 for peds teams and 2:
1 or 1:
1 for PICU teams.
We see lots of trauma patients, respiratory, ortho, ENT, DKA, GI.
We send patients to Phoenix for subspecialty care such as cardiac surgery, pulmonology, and neurologyo Special Equipment:
