Qualified candidates will have previous professional laboratory experience and/or a degree in chemistry/biology.
The Extraction / Distillation Technician follows established procedures to refine crude cannabis oils to insure purity of the final product.
The Distillation Technician runs post-processing equipment like rotary evaporators, vacuum ovens, wiped film distillation units and more.
This position requires to perform distillation, decarboxylation, filtration, and maintenance of post-processing equipment.
Other job functions include mixing terpenes with Distillate.
Responsibilities & Job Duties Works towards preset tasks with minimal oversight Preparation of equipment and plant materials for extraction Operation of sophisticated processing equipment Cleaning and maintenance of equipment Operating, maintaining, and making adjustments to extraction and processing equipment in accordance with SOPs Hand filling and packaging of all concentrates Understanding safety and handling of hazardous chemicals Maintain inventory accuracy for all SKUs Thorough documentation of lab procedures and record keeping Required Skills/Abilities 1-2 years of Short-Path experience (Preferred) 1-2 years for Extraction experience (Preferred) Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt to the day-to-day tasks Able to multitask throughout the day Job Type:
