The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the CEO and our team to support all aspects of the Company's financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and create reports for accountants and investors - Assist in the development of budgets - Prepare reports to support external CPA with the preparation of multi state tax fillings - Assist with administrative tasks relating to multiple geographically disbursed entities and assets - Maintain and update QuickBooks and other financial software, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, general ledger postings, bank reconciliations and other banking tasks - Work with Google Docs, Word, Excel, and other software as required - Communicate with clients and vendors effectively and efficiently
Qualifications:
- Requires minimum 5 years of experience and/or education in accounting and bookkeeping - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - High level of proficiency in QuickBooks, Word, Excel, and Google Docs - Experience preparing budgets and financial reports - Strong and confident communicator - Ability to work independently and within a team environment -Organized with excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task -Comfortable working within a changing environment Prior experience with Yardi software or oversight of commercial property a plus.
This position may include limited remote work options.
