Summary:
The Maintenance and Janitorial Tech is our company's key to ensuring our properties are clean, properly maintained, and safe.
This position is responsible for our Flagstaff locations.
This position works under the direction of our Self Storage and Area Managers.
Compensation is based on experience, aptitude, and education.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Cleaning Storage Units Lubricating and adjusting roll up doors Efficient management of time while handling multiple work orders General Janitorial Work:
Cleans Bathrooms, Windows, Walls, Doors General Handyman Work such as HVAC filter changes, drywall repair, painting, changing of light ballasts, door repairs, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned; works with minimum supervision; operates effectively as a team member.
Snow Plowing, Snow Blowing, Shovel Snow
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Experience:
A High School diploma/GED equivalent and at least two years of related experience and/or training in property maintenance is a plus.
Experience with the following is required:
Snow Plowing HVAC Equipment Overhead, Rollup and Swing Door Maintenance Misc Janitorial and Maintenance Language Skills:
Applicant must have the ability to read and comprehend work orders.
Applicants' ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and procedural manuals, and maintenance instructions in English is required.
Spanish as a second language is a major plus.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form and the ability to deal with problems, new challenges and change is necessary.
High level communications skills are imperative for a successful job applicant.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and to be able to speak and hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
Work Environment:
The Maintenance and Janitorial Technician must be available from 8:
00 AM - 5:
00 PM Tuesday - Saturdays.
The employee will generally split time between an inside and outside work environment.
These outside tasks may need to be performed in either extreme cold or extreme heat.
