We provide Primary Care, Dental, Physical Therapy, and Behavioral Health services to the under-served population across 12 communities in northern Arizona.

The Internal Communications Specialist role is responsible for creating and executing internal employee communications content and contributing to programs that actively engage internal audiences throughout the organization.
The Specialist translates organization strategies into key messages, develops appropriate internal communications initiatives in support of those strategies, and executes and drives programs that create excitement, drive engagement, align teams, and shape culture.
The ideal candidate will have proven ability to execute communication plans, strong writing including technical writing skills, as well as a natural ability to think strategically while delivering tactical results.
This role will work directly with key leaders of the organization to implement organizational-wide internal communication strategies.
The primary responsibilities include creating content and management of intranet content, newsletter, emails, and targeted communication needs such as leadership support or segmented audience communications.
Successful candidates will have proven experience with social media platforms and digital communications.
Develops communication materials using a variety of tactics (written communication, video production, digital newsletters, presentation materials, Zoom/Teams, and other platforms, all-hands, small group meetings, etc.
) to articulate key messages.
Uses internal tools to maximize the organization's internal communication effectiveness and ensures consistent messaging, branding, voice, imagery, and identity.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
Possesses outstanding oral and written communications skills including superior writing, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high quality results on time and on budget.
Willingness to build relationships and collaborate across the Organization.
Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with partners and staff at all levels, to include board of directors (Governing Board and Foundation Board) Highly proficient with Microsoft Office 365 suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Stream, SharePoint), Zoom Webinar/Sessions/Events and Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Adobe video editing apps experience given preference).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, communications, marketing or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant communications experience; work experience in a consulting, healthcare, or other professional services organization preferred.
Proficient with Video and Social Media production.
Demonstrated previous experience in writing and editing marketing content; experience with web, digital, and video content required.
Proficient in Microsoft 365 communication tools; SharePoint, Yammer, Teams, Sway,etc.
Experience managing branded digital marketing and social media accounts as well as proficiency using LinkedIn, Hootsuite, or similar platforms
